“Will you be my maid of honor?” Here we go again…! Prime Video has debuted the sneaky teaser trailer for Another Simple Favor, the crime comedy thriller sequel to the cult classic A Simple Favor from 2018. Director Paul Feig returns again for this sequel, which brings the two ladies to the beautiful island of Capri, Italy. This will premiere at the 2025 SXSW Film Festival in March before arriving for streaming on Prime Video this May. You thought it was over! But wait there’s more! A murder transpires at Emily’s extravagant wedding to an Italian businessman on the island of Capri, Italy. This sequel follows Stephanie Smothers and Emily Nelson as they head to Capri for Emily’s extravagant wedding – but when things go very wrong they’re off an another whodunit adventure. Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively return as Stephanie and Emily; along with Henry Golding, Andrew Rannells, Bashir Salahuddin, Michele Morrone, Elizabeth Perkins, Allison Janney, Joshua Satine, Ian Ho, Alex Newell, Elena Sofia Ricci, as well as Kelly McCormack. This looks extra twisted and extra spicy – what tricks does she have up her sleeves this time?

Another Simple Favor is once again directed by the American filmmaker Paul Feig, director of the films I Am David, Unaccompanied Minors, Bridesmaids, The Heat, Spy, Ghostbusters,, Last Christmas, The School for Good and Evil, Jackpot!, and the first A Simple Favor previously. The screenplay is written by Jessica Sharzer (of the first A Simple Favor) and Laeta Kalogridis. Originally based on the novel by Darcey Bell. Produced by Paul Feig and Laura Fischer. This is premiering at the 2025 SXSW Film Festival first in early March. Amazon will then debut Paul Feig’s Another Simple Favor streaming on Prime Video starting May 1st, 2025 coming soon. Look good?
