“If you fail to process any demons assigned to you, you will be terminated.” 👿 Blumhouse TV has revealed the first official trailer for The Bondsman, a brand new horror comedy action series that looks quite a bit like Constantine but with a different name. Resurrected bounty hunter “Hub Halloran” gets an unexpected second chance at life, love, and his nearly-forgotten musical career – only to find that his old job now has a demonic new twist. The supernatural new action series, from Blumhouse Television, will premiere all eight episodes exclusively on Prime Video in April this spring. Kevin Bacon stars as Hub Halloran, a murdered bounty hunter, who’s back from the dead after being resurrected by the Devil to trap and send back demons that have escaped from the prison of Hell. By chasing down those demons, with the help and hindrance of his estranged family, Hub also learns how his own sins got his soul condemned — which pushes him to seek a second chance at life, love, & country music. Also starring Jennifer Nettles, Damon Herriman, Beth Grant, Maxwell Jenkins, and Jolene Purdy. Looking pretty gnarly and entertaining. Glad to see they’re not holding back with an extra gory, violent, foul-mouthed red band trailer. Have fun catchin’ demons, ya’ll.
