Escaping Utopia

Australian preacher Neville Cooper – who renamed himself Hopeful Christian – founded religious cult Gloriavale in New Zealand more than 50 years ago. He was convicted and jailed on three charges of indecent sexual assault in 1995. Today, Gloriavale is still home to 650 people cut off from society. This three-part documentary speaks to former and existing members to get gob-smacking insight. Hollie Richardson

In the final part of this nostalgic documentary series, the boys of Boyzone reunite in 2007, after seven years apart. The old tensions quickly dissolve, and their comeback has got them feeling like their best selves – but tragedy, and some truly touching scenes, are on the horizon with the shocking news of the death of Stephen Gately. The wonderful period drama about Jane Austen and her sister Cassandra continues, and an unwell Cassy (Keeley Hawes) is haunted by more complicated wedding proposals from their younger years. That’s not the only heartache, as she also recalls having to leave their beloved family home. But there are happier moments to be found in the sisters’ loving relationship. HR

Jack Rooke’s filthy but heartfelt university sitcom is, sadly, almost over. A penultimate double bill sees the gang struggle with parties, charity shops, unexpected parental visits and essay crises in the library, but the underlying problem remains the same: what on earth are they going to do with their lives as adults?
