Vice-Governor of Russia’s Primorsky Krai liquidated at front in Kursk region – reports
The Vice-Governor of the Primorsky Krai of the Russian Federation, Sergei Yefremov, the commander of the occupation detachment “Tiger”, has been liquidated in the Kursk region.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Astra telegram channel.
“While returning from a combat mission, Sergei Yefremov, the commander of the Tiger volunteer unit, was killed,” said the governor of Primorsky Krai, Oleg Kozhemyako, without providing any other details.
It is noted that Yefremov headed the Tiger volunteer detachment, created in the summer of 2022 on the basis of the 155th Separate Guards Marine Brigade of the Pacific Fleet.
In August 2024, it was reported that he and the unit’s soldiers were sent to the Kursk region.
The Shot telegram channel said that the car Yefremov was in hit a mine and exploded in the Kursk region. In addition to him, another officer was killed. Yefremov had the title of “Hero of the DPR,” the post says.
As Ukrinform reported, in late January, soldiers of the 8th Regiment of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine cleared Russian positions in the Kursk region, inflicted significant losses on the enemy in manpower and captured important trophies.
