“The power of the force can sufficiently affect another person’s strength.” Lionsgate has just released this film on VOD to watch – if anyone wants to see if it’s legit. The Power of Chi is a documentary film about Tai Chi, and the power it has to change lives. Maybe. Academy Award winner Morgan Freeman narrates this documentary – which offers viewers a journey across cultures & practices, capturing the timeless appeal of the mystical and unseen. The website claims: “It is the first time in history that a movie has scientifically and demonstrably proven that this internal power exists and to watch this is spectacular for any human to see.” Take a look as even the youngest and smallest Tai Chi masters best some of the strongest and most celebrated athletes in the world when they channel this extraordinary harmonic & Herculean life force. This sounds like one of these pseudo-science YouTube doc that is somehow being released as an actual movie, so tread carefully. No producer credits are listed on this. And the film hasn’t premiered at any film festivals or elsewhere, as far as we know. Lionsgate just released Grovic’s The Power of Chi doc direct-to-VOD on February 25th, 2025 – it’s available to watch now. So who’s into this?
